Shepparton - Numurkah - Nagambie

Affectionately known as SAM, Shepparton Art Museum was voted Victoria's best small Museum by Museum Victoria in 2012, and is home to an impressive collection of Australian historical and contemporary ceramics along with significant holdings of Australian art in all media, including paintings by Boyd, McCubbin and Streeton. SAM is also home to Sam Jinks' much loved sculpture Woman and Child (2010).

It is relaxed and friendly and the main street of this quaint rural village is best traversed on foot. You’ll be greeted with smiling faces as you pass speciality shops, relaxed eateries, as well as charming gardens, wide open spaces and historical buildings. Being the centre of a thriving agricultural area, Numurkah is a food lovers’ paradise. On offer are a range of locally made wines, handmade cheeses, cold pressed olive oil, as well as organic honey and almonds. The Day will disappear quickly as you enjoy what the bowls club has to offer including lunch.

For anybody that isn't even a punter would have heard of this amazing horse. Nagambie is home to the to Black Caviar and in honour of this great horse is a statue overlooking the lake. Sit back with your morning tea, relax on the foreshore and take it all in .
