Mt Macedon - Echuca - Lake Eppalock
Hanging Rock (Mt. Diogenes) is a rare volcanic formation located near the townships of Woodend & Mount Macedon in Victoria, Australia. Appreciate the mystique of the famous hanging rock as we drive through.
Mt Macedon and the Memorial Cross
Travel 4km along Cameron Drive from the summit of Mount Macedon Road. The 21m high Memorial Cross is 200m from the car park. It is an imposing structure commemorating those who served in the world wars. There are outstanding views of the surrounding country from the Reserve.
Port of Echuca& Rich River
Recognised as one of Australia's finest heritage icons, the historic Port Of Echuca is home to the largest riverboat fleet, take your time and explore the Wharf and the paddle steamers. Rich River Golf Club Resort the name says it all, stay for a while, have a poke and then work up your appetite for a fantastic lunch and then take a stroll on one of the best resorts on the Murray.
Lake Eppalock
Lake Eppalock is a man made lake located 30 kilometres to the East of Bendigo and is situated on the Campaspe river. This lake serves as the water storage for Bendigo and local towns in the area such as Heathcote. Take a peaceful stroll around the lake or even just sit on a rock eating your afternoon tea and just stare into the water. We will then head through Redesdale Mia Mia showing you one of the oldest iron lattice-truss bridges in Victoria.
