Trendy restaurants in Bendigo that you must visit

The WoodhouseThe Woodhouse

One of the most popular eateries in Bendigo, the Woodhouse has long being recognized as a staple of good service and  food. They have a huge following of locals (generally making a reservation is recommended ) which just proves you really can't go wrong with visiting and trying some of the specialties (Wagyu & Inglewood Dry Aged Beef being some of their most talked about ingrediets)

The name of this trendy venue comes from their expertise in the use of chargrill and wooden fed ovens to produce some of the city's best and most popular  BBQ and pizzas. They are open for dinner from Monday to Saturday (17.30  until late) while lunch is served from Tuesday to Friday  (12.00 noon- 14.30). Keep in mind  their $20 special lunch menu (which generally includes a pizza and drinks) is one of the most popular in town, so do check availability before coming in, you can contact them at their website.

Masons of Bendigo

Possibly the most recognized restaurant in Bendigo (and trip Advisor's number one choice for the entire city)  thanks to it's relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. Described as trendy and modern, this establishment seems to enchant visitors with their diverse menu (which will satisfy both adventurous and not too curious eaters alike) and great service (really, I couldn’t found one bad review neither in newspapers or the internet, and that not easy feast given people's tendency to tell you what they think!)

Consistently a great venue for any type of outing, Mason's will ofter great product such as share plates where friends and couples can select a wider variety of dishes, thus have a nicer and wider flavor experience. Add all of this to their great wine list (and the fact waiters are always willing to advice you on taste matching and specials ) and you have a restaurant worth of peoples admiration (and trust me, this place is loved!). Always remember to make a reservation before you decide to pay the a visit, you can find Masons Bendigo's contact number and information in their website. They are open Tuesday to Friday from 12.00 to 15.00 for lunch and 18.30 to 23.30 for dinner service

Grill'd Healthy BurgersGrill'd Healthy Burgers

Certainly not the fancy option on our list, but since we are considering the trending places in town we need to talk about Grill'd and their healthy burgers, they are made good! This restaurant loves to find fresh and local products to include in their menu, from Avocados to pomegranates, the diversity of flavors is certainly interesting- I mean, let me take something straight from their menu and you tell me how it sound for a quick treat: “Grilled 100% grass fed lean lamb, avocado, tasty cheese, salad, relish & herbed mayo ” and you can have that with your choice of bun (and they have many) extras (again, the number is kind of exorbitant) and side dishes (they all sound  so good!).

You can see their full menu at their pretty cool website, or go visit them on Sunday to Tuesdays from 11.00 AM until 21.30 and on Wednesdays to Saturday from 11.00 to 22.00. They have one of the most efficient kitchens I have seen around, so if you can't find a spot to sit straight away, is never a terrible idea to wait around for a little bit for a new table to become available.
