Imagining Ned

Dates: 28 March – 28 June 2015

Right at the biggest and most impressive art venue, the Bendigo Art Gallery is a must for all art lovers looking for an inspirational day out. Don't even take my word for it, check out some Trip Advisor reviews I found which pretty much sum up the general accepted facts: The Bendigo Art Gallery Rocks!

Some reviews found online, what are people saying about this amazing gallery? Nothing but good things that is!

This upcoming 28th of March people will get the chance to meet one of Australia's most iconic character in a way they never thought possible. In this one of a kind exposition, artists use their talent and vision to bring the mythological Ned Kelly (and the Kelly gang) back to the artistic spotlight. Though considered a murderous criminal by some, other still hold Ned Kelly and his Gang with a certain amount of respect, much like they would Robin Hood.

The exhibition will not only feature art works from local artists based on Kelly and his gang, visitors will also get to see some original artifacts like Kelly's famous armor, letters, weaponry and personal belongings.

These are the names of some of the most popular artist that will be showcasing their art at the show: Sidney Nolan, Arthur Boyd, Adam Cullen, Juan Davila and Norman Lindsay
