The tale of 2 Rivers
Burnewang- Elmore - Echuca
About 9 km north east of Elmore this hidden stretch of parkland is worth the trip all by itself. Have a stroll along the Campaspe river, take in the peaceful views and fresh air.
Echuca represents not only a bygone era with horse-drawn carriages and wood turners but it also showcases all the conveniences of the modern era. The historic Port Precinct is recognised as one of Australia's finest heritage icons and is home to the largest riverboat fleet in the world - Australia's Paddle steamer Capital.
Elmores is one of those places that never seems to change, you can have a quick stroll around the town and then catch up for one last chat and cuppa before heading back to home for the night. Elmore is also home to the largest and oldest field days in Australia.
